About Me

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in health education. During my first pregnancy, we stumbled upon taking Bradley Method Childbirth classes. I had never really considered natural childbirth, but learned so much through our classes. We had a wonderful, natural birth in the hospital with an OB.

I would not have been able to meet my goals without my husband's support and encouragement, which is one of many reasons I wanted to become a Bradley instructor. I went through the training process during my second pregnancy, and finished my first series the week before she was born. My second labor and birth were at home with a midwife. I had my third baby in 2011. He was almost an accidentally unassisted birth, but paramedics made it just time for his arrival. I have experienced many different things in labor and helped at many births in both home and hospital settings. I am also a certified labor doula and lactation educator through CAPPA.
